The Gainesville Alumni Association Annual Symposium
Our annual symposium is a great place for parents and youth to get inspired, connect with successfull members of the community and browse youth resources available in Gainesville. Come listen to inspiring speakers, meet local industry professionals, enjoy a lunch and mingle with other parents and community leaders.
Career Fairs and Resources
We love inspiring Gainesville youth to strive towards bigger and better things! Our career fairs bring together professionals from a number of industries! Your kids will learn about exciting careers in technology, industry, business and more! They’ll make great connections, get career advice and walk away with the resources they need to start planning a career.
Mentoring
Our mentors come from a variety of backgrounds but they all have one thing in common – they are passionate about helping young people see and develop their potential, imagine the possibilities and develop the discipline and work ethic to excel at school and in life. Whether your child needs a hand up or is already doing great – they can get a ton of value out of working with a mentor! Mentors help youth gain perspective, develop a vision for success and a plan to develop themselves into successful adults.
Youth Leadership Programs
Our youth leadership programs focus on helping kids and teens become proactive leaders in sports, in school and in the community. Our programs are currently in development. Please contact us for details if you’d like to register your child.
Community Partnerships
We partner with local organizations to deliver youth programs, participate in diversity initiatives, provide support to community initiatives and sponsor youth events.
